Elephant sanctuaries
Observation, feeding and walking — never riding. We only work with sanctuaries that keep elephants in family groups and pay their staff properly.
Riding is still sold in Thailand, and it is still bad for the animal's spine and feet. The sanctuaries we use do not offer it, do not use hooks, and do not run bathing shows for cameras.
A good visit is quiet and slightly awkward: you stand at a distance, watch a herd behave like a herd, and learn where each animal came from. We will tell you honestly which camps are genuine and which have renamed themselves.
